The Bible tells us that truth never bows to a lie.
Proverbs 12:22 says, “Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight.” This verse teaches that God hates lies and is pleased with those who tell the truth.
We can also learn from Jesus’ example in John 8:44, where he says to the Pharisees, “You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character.”
Jesus spoke the truth and never bowed to a lie. We can follow his example and seek to always be honest in our words. This will bring us closer to God and glorify His name.
The Bible is clear that truth always triumphs over lies, so we should strive to live with integrity and trustworthiness. May we all remember this important lesson from scripture.
The Lord bless us to live a life of truth! Amen.
