Summertime is like a kid in a candy store. Except, instead of candy, there’s ice cream, poolside fun and outdoor adventures! From barbecues on the beach to stoop-sitting after sunset, summer offers endless days to enjoy with friends and family.
As excited as I am for all that awaits, there’s one thing that always catches me off guard – the sudden disappearance of my winter wardrobe. Where did all those sweaters and scarves go?! I guess they knew when to make a quick exit and leave space for shorts and tank tops!
Another summer surprise? Mosquitos in full force! These little bugs seem to be everywhere and I’m always on high alert. But that’s a small price to pay for the days spent outdoors, basking in the sunshine.
All jokes aside, summer is truly an amazing time of year. With every new day comes a chance to make memories and soak up all that this season has to offer. Let’s get out there and make the most of it!
