New beginnings can be exciting, nerve-wracking and uncertain all at the same time. As we embark on a new journey, whether it’s starting a new job, moving to a different city or pursuing a dream, there are often feelings of trepidation and doubt that come along with it. But as believers of Christ, we can find comfort and strength in knowing that we never have to face new beginnings alone.
Finding Guidance in the Scriptures
In times of uncertainty, it’s important to turn to the Word of God for guidance and reassurance. The Bible is filled with stories of people who faced new beginnings, and through their faith and trust in God, they were able to overcome challenges and experience great blessings.
One example is the story of Abraham. He was called by God to leave his home and family and journey to a new land that God promised to show him. This was a daunting task for Abraham, but he chose to trust in God’s promise and embarked on the journey with faith. And through his obedience, he became known as the father of many nations.

Another example is the story of Esther. She was an orphan who became queen of Persia and saved her people from destruction through her bravery and trust in God’s plan. Despite the uncertain circumstances, she chose to lean on her faith and stepped out in courage to fulfill God’s purpose for her life. (Esther 4:14)
These stories, and many others in the Bible, remind us that with God’s guidance and presence, new beginnings can bring about great opportunities for growth and blessings.
